Get started with Lobiloo

How do I add an arrangement that is not already one of the drop down types listed?

When you click on "Add Arrangement", you will notice a green "+" button. Hit that and you can add and save your new arrangement of your choice.

How do I add a flower that is not already within the flower library of images?

Go to the "My Rentals/Misc. Items" Category. Add any flower that you would like and it will show up in your cost out. We also will be adding on to the flower library in the months to come to increase its options of stock photos through Lobiloo.

Where is the save button?

Lobiloo saves as you work within the program itself. Your PDF estimates are also saved as you create them within the "History" of the software so that you can reference your previous estimates created for a client.

In the Event Overview, why is the "Upload Image" there?

If your client sends you a picture of their invitation, attire of whatever that they want for you to keep in mind with your designs and overall aesthetic that you are creating, this is a place for you to reference their dress etc.

A client did not book me. How do I get them out of my list of clients for my company?

If you go to Event Details and click on Event Overview, you will notice that there is a spot to pick from having a client "Active" or "Did not book". Feel free to update this as needed, or delete the Event altogether.

I am having trouble with figuring out how to use the Lobiloo Cost Out for my company. Can you make recommendations?

As we tailored this cost out to be used with the thousands of florists in the world, we had to create it to be universal. We do have many tips though to make it work best for you!

Depending on if you use wholesale or retail cost for your flowers, feel free to put that into the "Cost Per Stem" category as you so choose and go through putting the number of stems per design as well. If you have a markup that you know that you have used in the past that you want to use within Lobiloo, you can put that in the "Markup" column as a percent and that will then immediately calculate the cost to the client.

If you do not know exactly what you want for the markup to be, put your cost in as you have calculated it in the past within the "Cost To Client" field and then Lobiloo will calculate what your markup is. This can be very helpful to see if you are hitting the correct profit margins and to help keep you on track for the end of the year with profit and loss statements!

What is the difference at the bottom with the Export to Excel and Download Order Form buttons?

The "Export to Excel" button simply takes your cost out and exports it into an excel sheet where you can play with and alter it further if you so choose so that it is outside of the Lobiloo software program. This is also a nice feature to print out to give to your designer so that they can have it in front of them to know the number of stems that they have per arrangment and to know if they have any wiggle room if they decide to pop in and extra stem as they look at how tight that the markup percentage is.

"Download Order Form" gives you an excel sheet that you can email to your wholesaler to order for your event. You can download this and if you decide to add in a few extra stems before ordering or make any further changes, you can as you see fit. You simply need to put in the date of delivery and send it off!

Do I have to order from Florabundance?

No. This is just an easy way to order if you are in the United States as they work with FedEx to get your flowers to you overnight. You can choose to use this aspect of the software if it works well for you or continue to order wherever you have in the past.

I am creating an estimate and I need to charge more for my Labor and Delivery than my typical percentage. How do I change that for this estimate?

Go to the bottom of the "Cost Out" page and set the amount as necessary.
